Mr. Frederick Khouri
Fred Khouri is the Chief Operating Officer of Food For The Poor. Khouri has been with Food For The Poor since 1990 and has been involved in the steady growth of the charity for 20 years. During these years he has held several management positions prior to being appointed COO.
Khouri supports the work of the company's Chief Executive Officer focusing on the establishment and optimization of day-to-day operations within Food For The Poor. Other key responsibilities include: advising the management team on key planning issues and making recommendations on important business decisions, strategic planning, establishing operational processes and process improvement, along with ensuring that the facility at Lyons Road in Coconut Creek, Florida, is a safe, clean and efficient working environment. “I have always felt that working at Food For The Poor is a blessing because by serving the poor we are afforded the opportunity to serve Our Lord,” said Khouri. “That is why many of us consider this as working in ministry and not just a job.”
Khouri was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, where he attended Campion College. He is a graduate of the University of Windsor in Canada. Khouri and his family reside in Davie, Florida.
