Mother and child in front of cardboard home
$2,600 will build a brand new home for a homeless family. Click Here

For countless families in Latin America and the Caribbean, "home" is a cardboard box, a tin shack or a makeshift shanty. These shelters bake when the sun shines and leak like a sieve when it rains. Mired in poverty, barely able to feed their families, the poor have little hope for a better life. Through Food For The Poor's "Build A Miracle" program, many are realizing their dreams as brand-new houses are built for them.

Oftentimes, when a home is completed, the entire community gathers to give thanks to God. There are hymns of praise and tears of joy. It is a celebration of the highest order -- the prayers of the poor have been answered!

You have the power to make these "miracles" reality. A gift of $2,600 to Food For The Poor will fund the start-to-finish construction of a simple home for a family in need.

When you make your donation, you will receive a photo of an actual family who has received a home from Food For The Poor thanks to benefactors like you. You'll also receive a certificate that gratefully acknowledges your generous gift. Since 1982, FFP has built more than 40,000 simple homes -- many of which are funded by benefactors and individual sponsors as a special gift or as a memorial to a loved one.
