Angels Of Hope 2012 drawing contest

Food For The Poor’s Angels of Hope program provides orphaned and abandoned children with loving homes and sponsorship. Each year, the children compete in a drawing contest to win a certificate and $500 toward their personal needs. Thank you to everyone who voted!

Mirna’s parents were so poor that they could not provide for her. Today, in the loving care of Hogar Natalia de Siman, Mirna is an active girl who loves to dance. Mirna loves her new home and cherishes the love and attention she receives from her caregivers.

Orphanage: Hogar Divina Providencia

Country: El Salvador

Pablo came to Hogar Divina after his parents abandoned him. His favorite activities include acting, drawing, and painting, while his favorite subjects are math and English. Pablo is a very studious and cheerful boy who hopes to become a police officer someday.
