Help Feed Starving Children
Dear Robin, I am writing to you because the situation here in Guatemala has become much worse. I hope you and your organization will help save the lives of many more children. Children are arriving continually at our nutritional center, and many are barely clinging to life. When I see these little ones suffering, for me it is like seeing Christ suffering. It breaks my heart. One little angel we just welcomed is named Alejandra Pineda. When she arrived, she was one year old and weighed just 8 lbs. Because of her severe malnutrition, she had broken skin, a high fever, diarrhea, vomiting and a bad cough. Robin, she was in very bad shape. Robin, we depend on, and greatly appreciate, the support we receive from Food For The Poor, but there are so many more children facing starvation and death. Because of the upcoming dry season, food shortages will be even more severe. ![]() Sister Edna, who runs the nutritional center, provides the children with more than just nutritional and medical care.
Our resources are being stretched to their limits. Please let your donors know about our desperate situation. I know they have compassionate hearts. Please encourage your donors to do whatever they can to help save precious little lives. God bless you. Yours in Christ, This is just one of the many requests Food For The Poor receives every day. To help save precious lives, we need your help. A gift of just $12 will feed four hungry children for a month. You may have told yourself, “Someday I’ll give.” There are hungry children right now who are hoping that your “someday” is today. Please be as generous as you possibly can.
