Help Rebuild Haiti

A tent city alley in Haiti

Haiti’s devastating earthquake is in the past, but its effects remain. Your generosity helped provide critical relief in the days and weeks following the quake. For all you did to provide emergency relief assistance, thank you. Food and water distribution began almost immediately, and Food For The Poor teams were quickly on the ground assessing the situation. As tent cities quickly sprang up, the need for housing and sanitation became abundantly clear.

Rebuild Haiti

Your response to this disaster touched many lives. You let the people of Haiti know that they had not been abandoned or forgotten. You gave more than just a gift; you gave people hope.

Rebuilding lives, homes, schools and hospitals will take time and commitment, but as long as hope remains in Haiti, it can be done. You can continue to be a part of Haiti’s rebuilding process by joining our special monthly giving club.

As a club member, you’ll receive updates on how you’re helping to rebuild Haiti. Choose the automatic deduction option from a credit card or bank account, and you’ll help reduce administrative costs and ensure that the maximum amount of your gift goes directly to those in need.

Food For The Poor has been serving Haiti since 1986. Since then we’ve built more than 9,000 homes and we are committed to providing long-term solutions to our Haitian brothers and sisters. Please join us as we rebuild Haiti. This process will take years, and we need your help. You can make a real and tangible difference in one of the poorest countries in the world. On behalf of all those you will be helping, thank you.
