Hurricane Preparedness

Hurricane Season is almost upon us and Haiti is still in a desperate, critical state from last years season. With three storms and one hurricane within 30 days it will take years for them to recover. Feeding centers have had to be closed due to a lack of food in some areas and people will die of starvation if we do not help immediately

Last year so many of you rose to the challenge and assisted Haiti with food, hygiene kits, medical supplies and various sundries. We never dreamed that Haiti would have been visited by so much disaster in so little time and we want to do everything possible to be prepared once again.

In addition to Haiti, we have 16 other countries in the Caribbean and Latin America that are at risk of having devastating hurricanes visit their shores as well.

Please join us to help assist our neighbors in being prepared by having these items in country so that we can hit the ground running. Your donation will help us meet these immediate needs.

Thank you for your outstretched hands to the poorest of the poor and also for assisting us in saving lives. The people in the countries hardest hit like Haiti desperately need our help. They need our prayers and support. You are a blessing and in the words of Jesus “whatever you do for the least of these, you have done for me.”

LIST OF HURRICANE ITEMS NEEDED

Canned Foods: e.g. Tuna, Vienna Sausages, Corned Beef, Sardines, Vegetables etc.

Hygiene Kits: e.g. Toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, soap, antibacterial gel, wipes etc.

Medical kits: e.g. Neosporin, bandages – all sizes, alcohol swabs etc.
