Employer Matching Gift

Your company’s matching gift program allows you to direct your company's charitable dollars to the cause nearest and dearest to your heart, greatly increasing your donation's value to Food For The Poor. An investment of just a few minutes of your time can make a great difference to help our cause!

Eligible supporters for a corporate matching gift may include:

• Full-time or part-time employees
• Retired employees
• Spouse of employee

How do I secure a matching gift for my donation to Food For The Poor?

1. Contact your Human Resources Department for your company's matching gift form.

2. Fill in the “Employee” section of the form, sign it, and mail it to us with your donation.

3. Food For The Poor will complete the "Charity" section of the form, and mail it back to your company.

What if I already made a donation to Food For The Poor online or I have mailed in a check?

You are eligible if the donation was made within the previous 6 months to one year, depending on the matching employer, and at least $25. Simply complete the employee section of the form, sign it and mail it to the address listed above.

Many matching gift companies require that participants provide the Federal Tax ID number of the recipient organization when applying for a match. The Tax ID for Food For The Poor is 59-2174510.
