On January 12th a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck near Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Devastating aftershocks followed. The current number of dead and missing is estimated to be between 100,000 and 500,000. The entire capital of Port-au-Prince appears damaged or destroyed.
