A Letter from our President
Dear Friend of the Poor,
How could I say no to a gift of more than 100 tractor-trailer loads of food and medicine when so many are suffering in the countries we serve?
How could I refuse such a tremendous blessing? There’s just one problem: we don’t have the money to pay for shipping, and these perishable items must be transported in the next few months.
I’m begging you to help us deliver these items quickly. We were fortunate to receive several containers filled with high-value medical supplies. For every dollar you give, $223 worth of lifesaving food and medicine will be delivered to those who are struggling for survival.
Jesus transformed a young boy’s gift of five small loaves and two tiny fish into enough to feed thousands. Today your gift will also be multiplied to help many more people than normally possible. Jesus felt compassion for the hungry crowd. Today I’m praying that God will use our combined Christian charity to help bring the miracle of food and medicine to those who desperately need it.
“Magnify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together.”(Psalm 34:4)
Receiving this food and medicine is a tremendous blessing, but we must act quickly to make good use of it. You can make an enormous difference!
