Mission Trips Scheduled Dates and Calendar

We are overwhelmed and extremely grateful to see how many people are volunteering to help in Haiti. If you are considering this, please understand that we are unable to send groups in at this time. The October and December dates on our calendar were scheduled prior to the earthquake and are tentative. Please continue to check our website for updates and keep the people of Haiti in your prayers.

2010 Mission Trip Prices:

$1200 Jamaica

$950 Central America — Land package only (int'l and domestic airfares not included)

Mission Trip includes:

• Roundtrip international airfare from Miami or Fort Lauderdale
• Ground transportation
• Accommodations
• All meals
• Tour leader accompanying the group from Florida

All trips are hands-on experiences (painting a house or a school; planting trees or vegetables). We encourage interaction with the local people you will meet on your journey. In addition, most of our trips to Jamaica include house painting. The extended trips include 2 days of construction.

Be aware that we sometimes find it necessary to divert our groups to another destination due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event that this occurs, you will be advised as soon as possible. Refund/Cancellation/Transfer Policy

A non-refundable $100 deposit is due with your application. 50% of the remaining program fee is due 60 days prior to departure, and the final balance due 30 days prior to departure.

In the rare and unlikely event that FFP has to cancel a program (Mission Trip), the total amount paid to Food For The Poor (FFP) may be refunded (including the deposit). If the cancellation is at the request of the Participant or is a result of non-payment by the due date, any deposit or program fees paid by the Participant may be applied to another FFP program to be booked within 12 months from the date the original airfare was ticketed (subject to availability). All flights booked through FFP are non-refundable and non-transferable.
