Housing Projects

Donate to Housing

Food For The Poor partners with radio stations and their listeners to build homes for the poor in the Caribbean island of Jamaica. For $2,600, we can build an entire house that measures 12' x 18'. A house restores dignity and hope to so many families in need. Join us in partnering with local churches to present a practical presentation of the Gospel. They desperately need our ongoing support and prayers. Click here to see more on the radio housing program.

Food Projects

Donate to Food

Thanks to the compassion of listeners like you, Food For The Poor is able to help families in their struggle for survival. Your support is needed to bring food to those who are suffering from starvation and malnutrition. Your gift today will provide lifesaving food for families. Because of your gift, those on the brink of starvation will receive the nourishment they need – as well as a renewed sense of hope. The cries of destitute families continue. Click here to donate food to a hungry family.

104.7 The Fish - Building Homes and Strengthening Families

Donate to WFSH's Fishing Village

Radio station 104.7 The Fish for the last seven years, has made a difference in hundreds of lives in Jamaica. While we have transformed fishing villages, much more help is needed for families who live near these coastal towns. They need a safe place to call home. A new home represents more than just a physical structure, but it offers a platform for change both spiritually and emotionally. Click here for more on The Fish's Project.

Food For The Poor is an international relief and development organization founded 26 years ago. We have grown to become the foremost provider of aid to the Caribbean and Latin America. We impact every aspect of life of the destitute through our feeding, sanitation, water, housing, medical, education, orphanages and micro-enterprise programs. Food For The Poor goes to local clergy, missionaries and other church-based social programs of various denominations, and asks them, “What do you need to feed, educate, house and minister to the poor?”
