The Village

The proceeds from the event will be used to continue construction on the Hope Friendship Village in Chastenoye, Cap-Haitien, Haiti.  Destitute families living in the swamp area in Prolongé will be rescued and moved into a thriving new village in Chastenoye, Haiti. The village will consist of 50 double-unit concrete homes, 50 sanitation units, inclusive of a pit latrine and shower stall, one artesian well, a community center, and an animal husbandry farm for rearing goats and cows.  Also, the surrounding land will be cleared for planting and cultivating cassava, yucca, breadfruit and corn.
