pitchengine.com: Landau Uniforms donates $600,000 in scrubs to Haiti relief
Landau Uniforms, the nation’s leading quality health care apparel manufacturer, has donated more than $600,000 worth of scrubs to aid Haiti relief efforts…
…Landau chose to make its donation to Haiti relief more than six months after the quake to remind the business community that Haiti still needs support, as the relief effort is ongoing. The nearly 40,000 pairs of scrubs will be distributed through Food For The Poor, an interdenominational Christian relief and development organization.
“Food For The Poor is grateful to receive Landau Uniforms’ generous donation of scrubs,” said Robin Mahfood, Food For The Poor’s CEO/President. “Haiti’s road to recovery is long and challenging, but Food For The Poor, which has provided aid to Haiti for more than 24 years, is committed to being there every step of the way.”
