MIAMI (CBS4) ―A ten-year-old girl is exceeding all expectations and is using her passion and compassion to help the people of Haiti. So far, she has raised $85,000 for charity, and there is more. She has taken a challenge to raise even more money for those who desperately need it.

For people in Haiti life is tough enough, with poverty and hunger even before the earthquake struck. The reality is that few children had food and solid homes.

That is where 10-year-old Rachel Wheeler of Lighthouse Point comes in. She immediately wanted to pitch in to help Haitians.
