PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. (Jan. 15, 2012) — This month marks the two-year anniversary of the earthquake in Haiti that devastated that Caribbean nation.

It also marks two years since Stephanie Crispinelli, a 19-year-old Somers college student in Haiti on a humanitarian mission with her Florida university, lost her life in the quake Jan. 12.

Food For The Poor has maintained fundraising and administrative costs of less than 4% of its expenses; more than 96% of all donations go directly to programs that help the poor.
