June 2010 Prayers

Prayer of the Week 06-28-10

Father, we know that sometimes we get so caught up in own lives that we may not notice others who need encouragement… who need a gentle touch or a kind word. We pray that we would not be so distracted by the things of this world that we miss an opportunity to be an encourager in someone’s life today.

Help us God to be less self-absorbed and to be more sensitive to the needs of others. We ask Lord, that the words we speak to family members, coworkers, friends and strangers be words of encouragement.

We pray that our conversations would be edifying and uplifting. Help us to always speak in love with respect to one another and to be a blessing in someone’s life each day. In Jesus’ name we pray…

Prayer of the Week 06-21-10

Heavenly Father, help me always to know that You are God and that You are with me. No matter what my situation is, I am constantly reminded that You are there and I must learn to rest in the palm of Your hand because You are in control of my life now and forever.

Prayer of the Week 06-14-10

God our Father, You are the Father of all fathers. You are our Abba, Father, and we can freely call You "Daddy." Thank You for your Word. Let it always be hidden in our hearts that we might not sin against You. Help us to not only hear Your Word, but also to be obedient to it, that our days may be long and fruitful. Father, teach us that we might teach others, and above all else, may we live a life that is pleasing to You.
What a privilege it is to know that we can approach your throne of grace ever so freely. You are never too busy to listen. We know that no matter what time of day it is, You always hear our prayers and are attentive when we call. How amazing it is thatYou Who are the God of all creation, the One who hung the stars in place and calls each one by name... that we call You "Father!" We continually praise your holy name, now and forever.

Prayer of the Week 06-07-10

Heavenly Father, we approach your throne with thanksgiving and praise on our lips. Father, You are omnipotent and all powerful. We thank You for supplying all our needs. Abba, Father, we are so humble and grateful for your love and faithfulness toward us, your children. God, our Father, You are awesome, and we love You. In Jesus' Holy Name we pray,
