All of us face life’s challenges daily, and at times also have cause to celebrate moments of special blessing. We invite you to contact us during these times so that we can join with you in prayer.
Food For The Poor's ministry reflects God's unconditional love, which surrenders all, inspires trust and faith, and embraces all people, regardless of race, status or creed. We believe that Christ is alive, and that we can best serve Him by assisting those in greatest need. (Matthew 25:40)
Accordingly, we encourage regular prayer to guide and maintain the purity of our mission. Prayer is a fundamental part of our ministry.
At our headquarters in Coconut Creek, Florida, Food For The Poor staff members hold daily prayer services. We receive prayer requests through the mail, by telephone or through our Web site, and we regularly pray for the poor as well as for our donors and their needs.
Our prayer services renew our sense of mission and offer inspiration for the work that we do each day.

Merciful Father, we are thankful that You love us without condition. You gave full expression to that love by the gift of Your Son, Jesus. Help us always, in our turn, to love one another as He commanded. We pray in Jesus’ precious name. Amen.
