2009 Photos of the Year
A series of devastating storms in 2008 wiped out crops, resulting in famine and death through early 2009 in Baie d’Orange, Haiti. When Food For The Poor staff asked a group of women who among them had lost a loved one to hunger, a chorus of voices began calling out the names of those who had died.
