Wherever need exists, Food For The Poor is there — and our involvement in bettering the futures of the materially and spiritually impoverished extends far beyond what our name implies. In more than 16 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean, you'll find FFP representatives helping, healing and restoring purpose to thousands of lives.
There are several ways that you can support FFP's mission:
Gift Catalog: A unique opportunity to make a huge difference in the lives of the poor. Give your gift in honor of someone special for a birthday, anniversary or any occasion. You'll have the opportunity to print online certificates or send an e-Card immediately after checkout.
Employer Matching Gifts: Many companies offer their employees the benefit of matching a gift to the employee's favorite charity. If your employer does have a matching gift fund you will, in most cases, be able to double your gift to Food For The Poor.
Banana Bark Cards: Each greeting card is handcrafted by the poor — available in Christmas and All Occasion designs. Through your support, we can continue the Banana Bark program and give mothers honest work that enables them to provide for their children.
"The Journey: Daily Devotionals for Practical Living": Help us feed hungry children with a donation of $25 or more and receive a copy of "The Journey: Daily Devotionals for Practical Living" by Liony Batista.
Projects: Innovative ways to improve the quality of life in the Third World on a very real & tangible basis!
Bethany Village: A Haven of Hope: It started with a father’s dream to honor his beloved daughter’s memory. It grew into a dream come true for 250 desperately needy families! Honor someone you love and help a deserving poor family with a home in Bethany Village.
Angels Of The Poor: When you join the Angels Of The Poor program, you'll be making monthly or quarterly commitments in the dollar amount of your choice.
Angels Of Hope: When you sponsor a child through Angels Of Hope, we will send you a brief biography of a child, photos, a map and fact sheet about the child's home country.
