A child’s needs are universal: food… clothing… shelter… education… and love.  Children depend on adults to provide these necessities.  When children don’t have the support of a family, they must rely on the kindness and compassion of others. 

For about a dollar a day, you can help support a child in our Angels Of Hope program. 

Throughout the Caribbean and Latin America, precious children who have been orphaned or abandoned by their families need love and support. Through Food For The Poor’s Angels Of Hope program, you can provide both.

Food For The Poor has specially selected orphanages in the Caribbean and Latin America for participation in our Angels Of Hope program. These are nongovernmental homes that help orphaned children grow and develop mentally, physically and spiritually in a Christian environment.

Without these orphanages, many children would be faced with the horrors of living on the streets. They would be exposed to abuse, neglect and worse. We need your help to rescue and care for as many children as possible.

Sadly, many of the abandoned and orphaned children in these homes experienced little, if any, love from their families. This is why your love, care and concern are so important. Financially, you will be providing the child you sponsor with the material items all children need: food, clothing, shelter, educational supplies and medical necessities. We also have special Easter and Christmas celebrations for the children, which your generous gifts help provide. More importantly though, you will be a beacon of God’s love; letting a child know that they are special and important.
