Public Relations Associate

This person will work as part of a four-person team, and is responsible for cultivating media relationships locally, regionally and nationally, in addition to handling promotional activities.

Regional Development Officer-South Florida

Food For The Poor is looking for Development Officers to develop fruitful donor relationships in South Florida. The objective of the position is to develop a presence for FFTP by identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donors, with an emphasis on major gifts.

Service Advisor

The Service Advisor will assist in the process of donor retention by calling to thank donors and by responding with prayer to donors’ prayer requests; by calling donors for special appeals; by calling donors to encourage their participation in special fund-raising events and by maintaining and enhancing knowledge of Food For The Poor’s programs, projects, and countries of operation.

Correspondence Management Coordinator

The Correspondence Management Coordinator will process all Angels of Hope child and sponsor correspondence for assigned countries, and provide support to Donor Service and other areas of data processing and reporting as needed.

Administrative Assistant - Donor Relations Department

The Administrative Assistant - Donor Relations Department will work under the supervision of the Donor Relations office manager to provide full-time administrative support to the Donor Relations team.

Advisor to Foundations and Corporations

The Advisor to Foundations and Corporations will develop relationships with business, charitable fund, and foundation donors and prospective donors and increase their giving. A portfolio of assigned donors will be managed. The Advisor will work with the Foundation and Corporation team, as well as other Food For The Poor departments, to increase giving from all business, charitable fund, and foundation donors.

Project Finance Disbursement Coordinator

The ideal candidate will work as part of the Projects Department Team and is responsible to help strengthen and support the fiscal well-being of the Department whose goal is to implement impactful relief and development projects. The individual will possess extensive knowledge of GAAP.

Fundraising Team Skills Training Coordinator

Clergy Needed for our Speakers Bureau

Food For The Poor is seeking ordained clergy -- Catholic, Episcopal, Lutheran and other denominations -- to preach on behalf of the poor we serve in the Caribbean and Latin America. Preaching assignments are on weekends in parishes and congregations throughout the United States. Applicants must have a love for the poor and approval of their superiors. The position requires at least one weekend of travel each month, one mission trip each year, and attendance at an annual convocation. Speakers must participate in weekly online meetings with Food For The Poor team members, as well as other duties as needed and mutually agreed upon. The position begins as part time, but full-time employment may be available for those wishing to form deeper relationships with the parishes and congregations we serve.
