Executive Vice President
Edward Raine was appointed Executive Vice President of Food For The Poor in April 2018. He oversees many aspects of management for the organization, focusing on organizational development and strategy.
Raine served previously in executive roles in Operations and Human Resources. His understanding of how to shape company cultures in a global context has enabled organizations to scale for future growth. His clear focus on strategic direction and on efficiency has driven effective outcomes during periods of significant change.
In addition to his 30 years in the corporate world, he served on the Board and as Chairman of the Board for the nonprofit Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA), and as Corporate Sponsor Liaison with Best Buddies International.
Driven by a desire to make a difference in the world, Raine is passionate about helping people who care about what they do to achieve extraordinary things.
Raine was born and raised in London, England. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University North Carolina – Chapel Hill, and has a Certification in Organizational Development from Columbia University, as well as a Certification in Fundraising from Boston University.
He lives in South Florida with his wife, Mary, who was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. They have four grown children.
