Worship that saves
Support Don Moen and Friends, a music and worship team spreading God’s love to dangerously unsheltered families in Haiti by partnering with Food For The Poor
Don Moen is a well-known Christian singer, songwriter and worship leader who has partnered with Food For The Poor in a magnificent effort to build safe housing throughout Haiti.
“Food For The Poor is doing amazing work in Haiti, and I was proud to share their story each night during my recent tour of Canada. I’m overwhelmed that my friends there helped me raise enough money so that 11 more families now have a future out of the slums, in new homes in Marigot, Haiti,” said Moen. “Food For The Poor helped me turn an evening of worship into a lasting legacy of helping others in need.”
Acts of worship
Moen has partnered with Food For The Poor since 2004. After the 2010 earthquake devastated Haiti, Moen journeyed to Port-au-Prince and Cap-Haitien and returned to the United States inspired to utilize his talents and audiences in order to protect the lives of the poor by building safe housing.
Since the 2010 earthquake, Food For The Poor has built more than 2,200 permanent two-room homes in Haiti, more than any other organization. With more than 600,000 people still living in tents and other temporary structures, the need remains great. You can help change a life through worship in action.
